I do wonder - is it possible antibiotics in meat is the reason people are feeling better in some cases? i.e. the antibiotics are killing some bad bacteria in people's bodies?

Any antibiotics residue in a piece of meat would probably be too diluted to cause any major antibacterial effect. Except for liver and kidneys maybe. If eating meat it should of course be from healthy animals.
The main reason for feeling better when eating meat likely is the high level of nutrition in meat, compared to vegetables. Especially when meat is eaten raw:

I did eat Steak Tartare once (raw minced up steak) with a raw egg on top - and serve with cooked french fries - it was an interesting experience - the quantity wasn't that big but I felt so satisfied afterwards - if I'd eaten the same amount of meat cooked I think I'd still feel hungry.

It is said that the average human enzyme generating pancreas is 2-3 times larger than animal pancreas. This apparently is because humans cook their food. Cooked and processed foods forces the pancreas to work nonstop to generate enzymes to be able to digest food properly. This again means the pancreas demands energy and resources it would not need if we ate raw meat, or anything raw or uncooked.
From what I read meat that gets in touch with stomach acid digests much easier than for example grains > additional savings of energy and resources.
We may not be omnivores so much after all..

Very possible. Would in case have something to do with the enzymes not being destroyed by heat so that digestion is most effective.Archer wrote: - if I'd eaten the same amount of meat cooked I think I'd still feel hungry.

We all have our own experiences and form opinions based on those.
I would not consider meat to be a health food. It does boost calories and other things that allow us to recover our ability to recuperate physically to further exert ourselves. That being said I believe that meat is the cause of most of our ailments as it "mucks" up the system. I notice that eating less meat actually helps me and my system. (eating meat taxes your digestive system greatly) That's been my experience.

On a carnivore diet, you don’t have to worry about glycation in your body from combining carbs and proteins or carbs and fats. Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) are the cause of a lot of our ailments.
