Does anyone know where to get the HDPE/PE-HD 02 plastic bottles for MMS or DMSO? Or can someone suggest to me where and what to get to dispense the MMS or DMSO? Thank you.

Hello,

I just get them from ebay/amazon type evil places or where I buy sodium chlorite from but I have moved away from plastic altogether even HDPE.

I now only use glass either amber or a colour for different things like DMSO.

Two types, a dropper rubber top and another which is a droppler type and this gives a fairly controlled drop without a rubber top (good for DMSO).

I use the rubber top ones for MMS and droppler one for DMSO, Pure Gum turpentine and others.

100ml seems to be a good size and can carry well

Note, most if not all are now silicone top even if it says rubber. These last well with sodium chlorite but the acid HCL will slowly eat the silicone and if you can find actual red rubber top droppers, they are best (I have a few and hold on to them).

HDPE works but PET does NOT and sodium chlorite WILL eat it and that is not good. Acid will store well in it.

For CDS I have 500ml amber glass bottles with a little black lid that has an HDPE insert and they work very well and I give them out to family (or anyone who will try the stuff). Many come as a glass spray bottle but also have lids included.

You can go as fancy as you like but I try to keep it simple. All the plastic bottles I bought to give away were actually more expensive and don't last and I just don't like them now anyway.

Have fun!

Hi John, I am confused. I thought the rubber eye drop tops were not advised due to contamination of the DMSO or bases for Chlorine Dioxide.

Sorry for my confusion John. Are you saying then that the bottles that come with droppers are made of silicone these days and not rubber, and that the silicone is safe?

Hi,

People will have different recommendations based on their sometimes extensive experience. Cost also comes into play, I can not always afford a pharma grade glass bottle but I am getting there.

If you buy little plastic bottles of MMS, get it out into something glass.

Personally, I never use PET plastic, it degrades. I do not use HDPE unless it comes in it and I know it is a good bottle.

I just use the amber glass dropper bottles. They are what I can get easily and they work for me.

They all now come with silicone tops and this is fine for sodium chlorite and I have been using the same ones for years. They have not failed or degraded at all.

However the HCL (acid) will destroy the silicone tops.

So I have some spare old actual rubber dropper (red) tops and I use these for the HCL and now they also last for years without failure.

But I can not find them anymore for sale and even though they are sold as rubber, they are not, they are actually silicone.

If anything degrades, discard the lot.

Move to quality glass as best you can in time and if you can only afford mms and a cheap container now, it is better than nothing in my opinion.

I do not use any soft top dropper with DMSO

Only a glass bottle with a built in HDPE dripper such as this
www.mmsdetox.com.au/product/amber-glass-bottle-dropper/

If in doubt, these will work for everything but you might drop a few too many drops in now and then as they are not as easy to use for some people.

I will likely move to these in the future when giving to other people as they are affordable and I can't get rubber tops anymore.

If you buy little plastic bottles of MMS, get it out into something glass!

It is fun to have the best but it also has to be achievable for those new to MMS

Hope this helps.

I have only put two links here (same as above) and they are just for a picture reference

www.mmsdetox.com.au/product/amber-glass-dropper-bottles/

They both make a drop, one has a rubber top and some people like this and some don't.

One does not have this but still makes a drop but it is a little less controlled but also doesn't degrade as it has no rubber. I call this a droppler type.

These are both better options than plastic IMO.

The rubber tops are faster for making MMS for the bath (as an example) and I use them everyday (same ones for years).
