MSM (methlysulfonylmethane) was created by Samzee
I was wondering if anyone had experience in taking MSM capsules. After reading this, I was a bit confused: "According to my theory presented here, DMSO and MSM, which form each other in the body, should be essentially indistinguishable in their biochemical effects. They reach a equilibrium distribution between them that is dependent on the local body chemistry, and is independent of which one you start with."

So it sounds as though each chemical will yield the other in the body, but then it's unclear as to whether they're talking about taking both at the end. Does anyone know if using them in conjunction will provide more and/or different results? Or is taking one effectively the same as taking the other?

What dosage of MSM would be appropriate if one decides to try it instead of DMSO?

I started taking dmso back in 1980 and was the first Health Food store in Calif. to sell it. The reason Dr Stanley Jacob developed MSM was because of the smell of DMSO and people wouldn't continue with it because of it. I take about 24000 mg's every day and have taken as much as 50000 mgs a day but it's dosen't do any more at that amount for me. Everybody's inflamation intensity is different. It is very compatible with mms and you just have to see whats best for you. The best book for msm it Dr Jacobs The Miracle of MSM. also no side effects that I have ever heard. Wonderful book
