I had a tumour in my bowels and had treatment at Pearl Lodge in January. I came home, sure that the tumour was no longer active, I still believe this and that it is reducing. My symptoms are getting less and I am noticing various improvements.
However I had a blood test at the local hospital, the CEA blood test, or 'tumour marker' which notes the cancer cells in your blood. This was 4 last June and now was 48. They like to see it under 5. In a panic, I searched and found that the CEA levels actually rise temporarily under chemo (which I have not had), and I wondered if the same applies when on MMS? Could killing off the cells release them into the blood stream and make it appear that the cancer is spreading? If anyone has any experience of this I would love to hear from them!
My iron levels have also gone down again, to a measly 6.7, which again I do not understand, as i am taking moringa...
thank you so much
Miriam
