Is there any considerations of CDS/MMS in the treatment of Mange. Our puppy of 13 yrs needs help and I believe the standard treatment will effect his kidneys. Any help would be sorely appreciated.
Thanks in advance

How about the spray protocol, or using MMS/CA skin spray dabbed on with a cotton ball? That should not affect the kidneys and is worth a try. As long as the liver is OK, then MMS skin spray with a little DMSO on top?

I have a topical batch I made up some time ago(7 months)..I would imagine it is still effective. Maybe just spray on the affect areas???

Is it still yellow? Does it still smell of MMS? Those are the criteria I use to see if my skin spray is still OK.

I started topical spray applications of CDS3000 (without water dilution) today. What do you think the time intervals between applications would be appropriate?
PS: just had a 4oz HDPE bottle shatter when I squeezed...it held MMS topical spray. Nice sharp cuts on fingers, lucky I had the CDS to clean the wound

I've never had an HDPE bottle shatter - that's interesting. Did have a small plastic travel bottle from Walmart break at the spring area for the spray. Was it one of the softer ones, or one of the harder ones (like a PET bottle)? How hard did you squeeze it (musta been pretty hard to cause the cuts) - was it storing MMS? Protocol 3000 does use additional water to dilute, though - you might want to check the book again. Also watch for indications of irritiation - Wonder if you have to mix it up fresh each time. All kinds of thing to wonder about. More detail please, Vector - just curious.
I would start out with 2x a day, for a couple of days, as Jim, says, and then move to 3, definitely no more than 4x.

I can give you the company name where I order the bottles but prefer not to do so in an open forum. The bottle contained MMS Topical spray, less than 1/2 full kept at room temp for about 9 months. I was inserting a dropper top in the bottle, press down to lock it in and "pow". It really surprised me, lucky the cuts are clean, that plastic is sharp. The remaining unused bottles are pliable, so I don't know if the chemical reaction of the MMS wore down the plastic or I had and inferior bottle...but I shall be VERY careful with the remaining bottles.
After 3 applications the infected areas appear to be improving, whether this is wishful thinking or fact I am not sure. I think two applications a day might be the best rate as I do not wish to irritate the area as the exposed skin is dry and brittle.
